Oversee and coordinate all plant activities to ensure site budget and KPI's are accomplished.
Provide leadership that develops our people and ensures a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Manages employees by following company policies.
Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production.
Effectively identify site opportunities for growth and improvement by developing, recommending, and implementing measures that positively impact production methods, equipment performance, and tool quality.
Identify new and existing customers' needs and develop products and services that meet those needs.
Define market strategies and goals for the facility's capabilities.
Do internal and competitive research as needed to determine customer needs and provide information needed to influence customer decision making.
Ensure customer priorities and relationships are established with the goal of developing and maintaining long term repeat business.
Evaluate customer technical and manufacturing needs and align with business capabilities.
Maintain up to date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets and customers.

Partners with other business leaders to overcome challenges and implement business improvements.
Prior experience in the implementation of Lean or Operational Excellence projects and improvement methodologies Apply leadership styles that bridge the overall objectives of the business to the objectives of the operations team in a way that creates an engaged culture with an environment of continuous improvement and operational success.
Develop strong, diverse teams of people with multiple perspectives and talents.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams while handling multiple programs simultaneously.

Maintain team focus on the more important metrics that drive desired results.
Ability to initiate recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to plant property.
Develops, monitors, and reports on operating cost within functional areas.
Alert senior management of cost and labor over runs.
Make recommendations and implement solutions to problems related to same.
Ensures orders are manufactured according to specifications and the quality standards are met.
Advise plant managers on labor issues:
including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training/development, grievances.
Ensures site leadership are adhering to company policy and administer practices in a fair and equitable manner.
Implement cost effective systems of control over operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
Compile and analyze daily/monthly reports.
Report on the performance of the production system for the management review process.
Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses and/or equipment when necessary.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
Typically has a hands-on approach with the ability to recognize potential production and quality problems on the plant floor before they occur.
Qualification and Education requirements Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 10 to 15 years hands-on combined manufacturing and commercial experience.
5
years of true P&L experience at a manufacturing operation preferred.
Lean Certification, Lean Master, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum, Kaizen Master qualifications are preferred Qualification and Other Skills Required Decision Making Strong problem solving/analysis methods Financial Management Business Acumen Change agent and ability to work with a diverse group of people Microsoft Office knowledge and abilities.
Strong managerial, leadership, and communication proficiency, with the ability to motivate others.
Preferred experience with ERP systems.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an understanding of Microsoft Office Software- especially knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
